But I couldn’t have been more wrong. It was far from painful! I did not feel any pain at all just a sensation of the pen gliding through my skin. Before having the treatment I had a consultation which Kiran took me through my ideas, concerns and expectations and then continued to explain the process of Microneedling thoroughly. She showed me a diagram of the skin anatomy and explained expertly the layers of skin, how the microneedle will penetrate through, and what the effects should be to show improvement to my skin. My main concern and reason for treatment was for the deep scarring and pitting, from having severe acne when I was younger. So my expectation is for improvement largely to this area.Kiran’s professional consultation covered a scope of related skin information catered I felt just for me, making me feel I’m in the right hands. During the treatment every step of the process was explained and the rational behind it which was very reassuring.
