About Facial Contouring

Facial contouring is a combination of multiple treatments individualised for each patient.  Facial Contouring is fast becoming a popular treatment.  This is thanks to the likes of Kim Kardashian, Huda Beauty and Kylie Jenner, to name the least, who have made contouring with make up a fashion must.

It can include the following:

Cheekbone Contouring

Cheekbone Contouring, otherwise known as Cheek Filler, is a Dermal Filler based treatment which helps define the cheek and cheekbone area.

Our clients have found that they are having to contour less with makeup, meaning that you don’t need to bother too much with your contour palettes.

This treatment isn’t just popular with the ladies, the men love it too.  This treatment gives guys more chiseled cheekbones and sharp edges.

Dermal Filler is added along the cheekbones to create a more defined and contoured look.  This method is less invasive and less expensive than a surgical cheek augmentation.

Many of our clients also tend to have the Jawline Contouring treatment alongside this one.  These two treatments tend to complement each other, giving a more polished and fully finished contoured look.

Jawline Contouring

Jawline Contouring, also called Jawline enhancement, isn’t just popular with the ladies, the men love it even more too.  This treatment gives men a more chiseled and sharp jawline.

Dermal Filler is added along the jawline to create a more defined and contoured look.  This treatment is ideal for those that have Jowl Necks.

Many of our clients also tend to have the Chin Contouring/Augmentation treatment alongside this one.  These two treatments tend to complement each other, giving a more polished and fully finished contoured look.

Non-Surgical Chin Augmentation

Non-Surgical Chin Augmentation, also known as Chin Enhancement or Chin Correction, is a favoured treatment when it comes to profile balancing.  Profile Balancing is where a back-set chin is reharmonised in the correct ratio to the nose and lips, therefore, balancing out a side profile.

Dermal Filler can also be added to the chin to create a more defined and contoured look.  Dermal Fillers in the chin area can help to correct a dimpled chin which is usually more common for women.  Generally, for men, a dimpled chin is added for a more ‘masculine’ and chiseled look.

Many of our clients also tend to have the Jawline Contouring/Augmentation treatment alongside this one.  These two treatments tend to complement each other, giving a more polished and fully finished contoured look.

I had 3 mls in total. 1 ml for both cheeks, 1ml jawline and 1ml in chin. Dr Farmah took his time to expertly sculpt my face. He understood what I was looking for. I had seen many places but he took the time to fully understand what I wanted and how I wanted it. He called me a week later to see how I was getting on. Dr Farmah doesn't use any pressure sales tactics and genuinely cares. I've already booked my next appointment for Jawline Slimming. See you soon, Dr Farmah

Finally, someone who understands what facial contouring is. He took my squarish face and made it heart shaped. He even helped me choose what treatments would give most value for money. In the end, I went for Jawline slimming with a cheek lift. Wow, the Cheek changed my face. It lifted all lines around my mouth and nose and made me look fresher. Definitely be going back.

How our Dermal Filler treatments work

  • null

    Preparation

Your initial consultation with Dr Aesthetica will consist of evaluating your full medical history and lifestyle including whether previous treatments have been undertaken and what your expectations are from the treatment itself. This will determine whether you are a safe candidate for Dermal Fillers.

    Treatment

A topical anaesthetic will be applied before treatment begins, to make the procedure more comfortable. The treatment itself will last around 30 to 45 minutes depending on the volume required along the cheekbones, jawline or chin.  After treatment, Dr Aesthetica will provide you with after-care information.

    Recovery

Recovery is dependent on person to person. It can take up to around 48 hours to make a full recovery. In this time, you may experience sensitivity for up to 24 hours.  Though swelling and/or bruising can be present, this is usually minimal. You will need to refrain from touching or rubbing the treated areas for around 12 hours.  It is also advised that make up should not be worn for at least 12 hours.

    Result

Results are immediate and visible once the treatment has been completed.  These results will last around 12+ months in which time, the Hyaluronic Acid will be naturally absorbed by the body and broken down.  Results will vary person to person due to the skin’s natural genetic make up.
