When it comes to our physical appearance, we all have different ideas of what conventionally can be classed as being perfection. Some prefer flawless skin, while others tend to focus on their physiques and what kind of shape they’re in physically. One thing we can all agree on however, is the fact that, overtime, Father Time himself can be unkind to some of us, especially where our skin is concerned. When we’re young, once we’re out the way of puberty and hormonal imbalances, our skin is soft, it is smooth, it is plump, it is firm, and it is wrinkle-free. As the hands of time creep up on us however, each line in our face tells a different story. While some people age better than others, the good news in regards to our skin, is that there are cosmetic procedures we can undergo that can help reduce and prevent lines and wrinkles from forming. One of the most unattractive aspects of growing old is where we get bags and dark lines and circles under our eyes. This can add decades to our physical appearance and can leave us looking as if we haven’t slept in a month. Thankfully, with tear trough and eye rejuvenation, these wrinkles and dark circles can become a thing of the past.
What is tear trough and eye rejuvenation?
As we grow older, our eyes are one of the first parts of our bodies that begin to look old and haggard. Well, actually, not our eyes themselves, but rather, the area of skin directly underneath our eyes. The older we get, the darker these circles look under our eyes and the older and unhealthier we look. The tear trough is a part of the face between the cheek and the lower eyelid. It is a groove located in a junction between these two areas and it can be improved upon. You see, a loss of collagen can cause skin in and around the orbital bone, to become thin and lifeless, it then sags and can give the impression of dark circles under the eyes themselves. Now, there are surgical procedures for tear trough and eye rejuvenation, but these are expensive and very invasive. Because of this, many people choose to have filler injections instead.
How do tear trough filler injections work?
Most people in their late 30s – early 40s begin to notice the skin under their eyes beginning to sag and darken, and most of these individuals admit to wanting to do something about this. Well, by having an injectable filler, now they can. The filler is injected into the surrounding area and it works by basically filling in these areas, helping to firm up and plump up the skin. The filler is injected deep below the surface of the skin and soft tissue surrounding the tear trough, which in turn helps to plump them up and fill them out on the face. The end result is more youthful, healthier, more aesthetic complexion.
Key benefits of these tear trough fillers?
If you are planning on having tear trough and eye rejuvenation injections, there are a number of benefits associated with this procedure. They include the following:
Reversible – To some people this may not sound like a good thing, but it really is. You see, although you will almost certainly be incredibly pleased with the results you receive, some people worry that they won’t be and that their face will be changed forever after having a treatment. With tear trough and eye rejuvenation treatments however, you can rest easy because they are reversible. You see, as hyaluronic acid is primarily used, an enzyme known as hyaluronidase can be injected into the skin to break down the HLA virtually right away.
Non-invasive – For people looking for a more youthful complexion, some opt for surgical procedures which are very invasive. These surgical procedures are non-reversible and will change your complexion forever. What’s more, they often leave you looking bruised and beaten for several days, weeks even, as you recover. With HLA filler injections however, they are about as non-invasive as you can get. The doctor will simply inject the affected area with the filler, and you will generally be done in around 10 minutes time. There is minimal pain, no recovery necessary, and results are very speedy. You will notice some minor swelling over the next 5 days or so, but this is nothing too dramatic, and afterwards that is pretty much it.
Youthful complexion – If you are looking to shave years off of your physical appearance then tear trough and eye rejuvenation fillers are ideal. They work very quick, there is little recovery involved, and they work incredibly well. Your skin around your cheeks and eyes will look fuller, firmer, plumper, and healthier than ever, and you can kiss goodbye to those hideous dark circles under your eyes that made you look as if you hadn’t slept in a year. Put simply, you will look great and your confidence will increase as a result, so you’ll feel great in the process.
